Well we didn't get to the pumpkin patch but we did make it to farmers market. There is always alot of excitement and fun in the air at the NC State farmers market in Raleigh. We bought just 1 pumpkin this year. Not the 829 pounder in the photo , the kids would have if daddy would have said yes:D
The weather has cooled off a bit. Actually had a frost last night. Not a heavy one, but still a frost none the less.
The kids decided on Halloween costumes, Alyssa is going to be a butterfly, Aryn is going to be Jasmine (Disney) which is a re purposed outfit (amen!) and Andrew is going to be Stewie Griffin. He got a mask a few years ago and i am finally letting him wear it. I am figuring this may be one of his last years that he dresses up so...just want to bite my tongue and let him wear what he wants.
This week : Monday Alyssa has a test in ballet tonight - huge french terms ( crazy!) and Aryn has a orthodontist appt. Tuesday is clogging night and hockey for Andrew. Friday night is a dance at the middle school. First one Andrew is going to , not because he wants to go into the cash machine( he won a few minutes in the machine for magazine sales ) Saturday is dress rehearsal for the folk festival at NC state fair and Sunday Aryn is dancing at the NC State fair . So as you can see , as always busy, busy, busy . Oh and we need to add in there sometime over the weekend we will have to see High School Musical 3 - which opens Friday !
if you are in the area and want to see Aryn at NC State Fair she is performing at 10 am and 2 pm in the folk festival tent behind the graham building (this Sunday)

Hey ... I've been to that Farmers Market ... woo whooo, it's an awesome place. The kids look adorable as usual. Sure wish I could be there to see Miss Aryn dance at the fair ... make sure you get lots of pictures Monica, Auntie Tania can't wait to see them.
Kisses and Hugs to all my favorite Josupaits!
HOly moly, that is one BIG pumpkin!
That is one big pumpkin!!! Your children are adorable & very busy!!! You have some great photo ops coming up.
Don't you just love the farmer's market? I took Nik and her friend there a couple of weekends ago, so I recognized that giant pumpkin in your photos immediately. We bought just one pumpkin this year, too. A white one this time. Pete is too old for all that business. He is talking about trick or treating still, though...just cause he wants the candy!
sounds like you guys are busy, busy. I crave days with just plain old nothing in them!
That sure is one HUGE pumpkin!! I've been to the Farmer's Market in Asheville, NC. Awesome. Wish we had one here that wasn't so far away.
